Trauma sensitive yoga can support healing by allowing you to find stability, safety and connection with your body. Traumatic experiences can overwhelm the body’s nervous system and impact coping skills, which can result in a profound lack of safety and control.

These trauma sensitive yoga classes provide a safe environment for a gentle movement practice, as well as breathing and mindfulness to promote a sense of relaxation. You’ll be guided gently through a series of yoga shapes with a focus on building awareness of the sensations present in the body and on exploring and making embodied choices about the practice based on how your body is feeling.
